Our resident sky-watcher reveals her notes in Astro-Log:  a sketch of this month's heavenly activities. As the planets dance through the celestial ballroom, the "Music of the Spheres" impacts on our entire environment, from macrocosm to microcosm. In our continual attempts to "go with the flow," checking the current cosmic pulse through Astro-Log, can help us harmonize with the moment, the Eternal Now. These effects are GLOBAL, regardless of your "sign." Obviously, the way they interact with your own personal horoscope will determine "how" you personally experience them.

As the ~tyme~warps~ continue, we are doing our best to transmit these Logs promptly, but true to its name, the Aquarian Zone runs on its own frequency and doesn't always coincide with ~earth~tyme~. This monthly report is usually posted by the natural solar rhythm
which occurs each time the Sun changes signs. It is meant to be a Guide, not Gospel.
Our Star-Gazer sincerely hopes that her notes are a help to you.

Our web~weaver, penelope, would like you to know that in response to your requests, she has prepared a portfolio~page to show you some of her web designs, in case you are needing some help with your pages. She also sends a reminder that Penelope's Parlor is always OPEN for your enjoyment. You can schedule Chats with your friends, ~any~tyme~. L-I-V-E CHATS with SANDY are also available.

Last month's Astro-Log is here!

Sept. 22 -

Autumn Equinox

As the counterpoint to Spring Equinox, this momentary glimpse of equilibrium finds us perched on the ledge of Earth-time, and then the scales tip. The seasonal baton is passed from North to South, and assimilation of the past six months is the key to unlock the next door. This may be our one clear view of the upcoming landscape. Take a snapshot, sketch the view, record the vision. Intuition is "bang-on;" slip through the loophole.

Sept. 23 - As the Sun enters Libra, we suddenly see a new reflection in the mirror. Last Sunday's New Moon in Virgo kick-started our cellular memory just in time. Moon in Scorpio says: trust your intuition. Banging and crashing is mostly noise, but watch for falling debris.

Sept. 24 - We start to see a new vision, a fresh landscape, and more choices. Tongues may be sharp, secrets come out, confrontation leads to revelation.

Sept. 25 - Today's the Day! It's party-time. Everybody phones you, drops by, comes home or sashays over your way. The big weekend starts tonight. New ideas are bursting forth, and plans finally take shape. Overload is possible.

Sept. 26 - Excellent day for retreat, private getaway or invisibility. Do yoga, Tai Chi, dance, run, walk, hike, bike, move, breathe, stretch, and listen with new ears.

Sept. 27 - Early morning focus yields results. Change of plans, schedule shifts, new adventure entices you. You may lose track of time, and forget about previous arrangements; girlfriend might get mad, burn the dinner or misplace the credit card.

Sept. 28 - Get organized, back to work, plow through the stacks of paper, and relieve the pressure. Unexpected call comes in. Wires may get crossed, but the Moon is bright tonight; "make hay" while the Moon shines.

Sept. 29 - Sign the deal, buy the ring, and if your guts are pulling that way, go for the long-shot. Brainstorms become working models; long-distance calls are hot, and plane ticket arrives.

Sept. 30 - Yom Kippur rises into a crescendo of celebrations as the day grows older. Social agenda is packed. Moon in Aquarius brings friends with surprises. Don't let the parking ticket ruin an otherwise fabulous day.

Oct. 1 - Marc Edmund Jones, Father of Modern Astrology, would have been 110 years old today. (Our Numerologist notes that "1-10" is also today's date) Numbers and planets agree that it is a day of new beginnings with new plans. The sky is the limit. "Do not follow where the path leads. Instead, go where there is no path, and leave a trail." This is a big month; make it count.

Oct. 2 - Morning agitation, ruffled feathers, traffic jams, but it gets better. Relief shows up, you take-off early. Lovely evening, romance swirls. Spend the night; roads may be slippery.

Oct. 3 - Recuperation day, sleep in, take a break and clean out the shed. Great day for an auction, a trip to the attic, or even the countryside. Tight schedules need to loosen; go with the flow, and you'll be amazed. Postpone surgery.

Oct. 4 - Flashes of insight, fun side trips, artsy endeavours will flourish. Dance the night away; who knows? You might fly! ... but do not lie.

Oct. 5 -

Full Harvest Moon
shine on, harvest moon

Extremely High Energy today. Aries Full Moon has plans and takes action. New, more workable, aggreements are reached, and you find the missing piece. Money comes in; old debts get paid.

Oct. 6 - Low cloud cover, or door frame; "duck." Quick thinking gets you out of a jam. Best to keep your mouth shut. Sleep on it, before you leap. Radical behaviour will be all around: on the road, at home and even in your dreams.

Oct. 7 - Back to ground. Slow and steady wins this race. Moon in Taurus as Mars enters Virgo. Plodding start, thick head; mind your "P's and Q's." Evening proposals improve the atmosphere. Have fun tonight; do something you have never done before: fulfill a secret, wild fantasy.

Oct. 8 - Smooth sailing, if you keep it simple. Impulsiveness will not pay-off. Anger or speed will slow you down. (i.e. you land in the hospital or jail) Traffic or reservations may snarl. Breathe, stretch and breathe again. Gemini Moon needs air. Claustrophobic conditions can produce paranoia.

Oct. 9 - All kinds of answers flood in, repairman arrives, your hard work pays off. Antique cars, houses and furnishings are spotlighted. The "old homestead" is sitting on a gold mine, or you win the lawsuit. Love and money fill the air. It's a feast.

Oct. 10 - Excess celebrations of last night are likely to have yielded headache or lost keys. They'll find their way home, though, so relax, take a walk, or sit down to a friendly card game. Order in, or be home early, as Neptune will be up to mysterious business.

Oct. 11 - Neptune turns Direct. Rinse the last of the sediment out of the sieve, and take a deep breath. A day for sifting and sorting, and not too much physical activity. Simple food and easy mood, with a hot tub and massage after Mercury goes into Scorpio (7:45pm PDT).

Oct. 12 -

Happy Thanksgiving Day, Canada

acornpumpkins and corn stalks beckon WinterCorn Goddess bestows Life on her people
Autumn Harvest fills the cornucopia to overflowing

May the swirling winds of Autumn bless you with abundance and joy.

Oct. 13 - Phew ~ That gigantic turn of Neptune's really packed a wallop. The facts are being sorted; questions will be asked. Let the Truth flow upward from Within. Not the day to throw your weight around.

Oct. 14 - Lost loves are found, letter or package arrives, phone call from afar (or your brother), and problems get solved. Today is the day for the bargaining table; everybody wins.

Oct. 15 - Start the diet, join the spa, & prune the last of summer's green. Keep your head, and challenges will be handled; stay flexible.

Oct. 16 - Time for a day off; you've earned it. Fantasies & day-dreams keep you from working, anyway. Make lists, phone repairmen or other helpers, and relax in the sun, but go easy on the indulgences. Be careful driving.

Oct. 17 - Major upsets in transportation, machinery breakdowns and power-outages. Huge storms will blow dangerous winds. Intuition will be your best guide; throw away the bus schedule.

Oct. 18 - Picking up the pieces, stay centered, breathe ~ Uranus goes Direct today. Make plans, but not to begin until after the New Moon on the 20th. Reconcile with loved ones today & tomorrow. Write poetry, finish that song, and let the evening "plan you;" friends may drop by.

Oct. 19 - Love is in the air; be sure to show the ones you care about, just how much they mean to you. Solidify business relationships; good day to settle the law-suit or argument. Perform a closure ritual, followed by a fresh start.

Oct. 20 -

NEW Moon in Libra
As the fall skies darken, you will want to walk the path with friends, not foes. Scorpio Moon moves in quickly, after squaring Neptune, so deception is likely. Roads may be icy, or patchy fog may restrict visibility; keep a steady pace. A flashlight and extra food might come in handy. Be prepared; get a headstart on tomorrow.

Oct. 21 - Traffic jams or electrical failures could cause delays; reschedule meetings for later in the day. Getting organized will be rewarding. Catch-up on old news, photo albums or your chess game.

Oct. 22 - You're almost there; don't blow it now. One minute of inattention, or self-absorption, could send you off the bridge. Stop, look & listen. Understanding will follow. At least you'll "fly" in your dreams.

Oct. 23 - Intensity marks the entrance of the Sun into Scorpio. With the Moon sliding by Pluto in Sagittarius, tip-toe, whisper & stay alert. A big mouth will insert foot; secrets may be exposed; tempers could flare. Know your escape routes.
