Our resident sky-watcher reveals her notes in Astro-Log:  a sketch of this month's heavenly activities. As the planets dance through the celestial ballroom, the "Music of the Spheres" impacts on our entire environment, from macrocosm to microcosm. In our continual attempts to "go with the flow," checking the current cosmic pulse through Astro-Log, can help us harmonize with the moment, the Eternal Now. These effects are GLOBAL, regardless of your "sign." Obviously, the way they interact with your own personal horoscope will determine "how" you personally experience them.

~ Vestal Virgo ~

When we speak of the Vestal Virgins of Virgo, we are not referring to anyone's sexuality. Being "virginal" in a mythological sense, basically means simply, "To Thine Own Self Be True." "Vestal" refers to the absolute devotion and dedication shown by these women in the Temple of Vesta, where the Light Eternal was safely housed and protected. This month of the year is a time of getting "back to ground," to harvest the crops, to focus our attention on the details that will matter so much, later on (winter).

As the ~tyme~warps~ continue, we are doing our best to transmit these Logs promptly, but true to its name, the Aquarian Zone runs on its own frequency and doesn't always coincide with ~earth~tyme~. This monthly report is usually posted by the natural solar rhythm which occurs each time the Sun changes signs. It is meant to be a Guide, not Gospel.
Our Star-Gazer sincerely hopes that her notes are a help to you.

Our web~weaver, penelope, would like you to know that in response to your requests, she is preparing a portfolio~page to show you some of her web designs, in case you are needing some help with your pages. She also sends a reminder that Penelope's Parlor is always OPEN for your enjoyment. You can schedule Chats with your friends, ~any~tyme~. L-I-V-E CHATS with SANDY have claimed a new ~tyme~slot~: EVERY Wednesday (Mercury-Day) "evening," at 9:00 pm PDT (+7=GMT), starting August 26. See you there!

If you have any problems figuring out what time that is, wherever you are, please feel free to e~mail Sandy , and she'll be glad to help you.

Last month's Astro-Log is here!

Aug. 23 - Mercury's backward ripples finally face forward, just as the Sun zooms into Virgo, opposite Jupiter. Last minute ruffle of papers as Monday morning deadlines loom, but RELAX ~ you will make it. The boss, himself, will probably sleep-in. Tomorrow promises to be "the best" of Mondays!

Aug. 24 - Libra Moon arranges social gatherings; be there. You'll meet just the right person or do the right thing. Watch for the Bonus.

Aug. 25 - Move fast, while the path is clear. You can cover a lot of ground today, get signatures, complete phone calls and jot down all those fantastic ideas.

Aug. 26 - Stark realizations lead to satisfying resolutions, although some tears may be shed. A day to remember our time-honored loves: those people, animals, beliefs or things with the same weather-marks, laughter lines or memories as our own. Today would have been Mother Teresa's 88th birthday. We are reminded of our great loss, and our great gift, in this one magnificent woman. We honor her life and her death, as the anniversaries of both come upon us. May this image invoke the essence of the peace, love and compassion through which she and Lady Diana lived their lives.

Lady Dianaworldwide peace is the only path to survivalMother Teresa

Aug. 27 - Scorpio Moon advises intent focus, attention to details and caution with machinery and vehicles, as it forms a cross with Saturn, Mars & Uranus. Keep receipts, pace yourself, obey the law and hold your temper.

Aug. 28 - Auditors arrive, nerves are strained, egos do battle. Postpone meetings if possible. The answers will dawn after sunset. An evening get-away will soothe rough edges.

Aug. 29 - You finally feel a lift. Today you CAN climb that mountain. Fill the day with whatever you value the most. Rewards are internal.

Aug. 30 - The Great Escape ~ quick while nobody's looking. Sagittarian Moon brings bright visions, new contacts, innovative ideas and unexpected good news.

Aug. 31 - Keep it simple, stay calm, stretch your limbs and your mind. Lack of organization may result in confusion, but take a deep breath. It will sort itself out.

Sept. 1 - Capricorn Moon trines Saturn & the Sun. Fabulous day for completion, productivity, carpentry, new business plans, or even just balancing your checkbook. A reunion of old cronies or a trip to the auction would be equally profitable.

Sept. 2 - Good fortune continues, teamwork helps, and the job gets done, maybe even early. (~OR~ you have an incredible day off, and get paid anyway) Overseas calls, business trips and genealogy searches yield results.

Sept. 3 - Aquarian Moon flips all the switches. Weather patterns, electrical currents, body chemistries, brain waves and hard-drives will all have "minds of their own." Some will find gold, but not if they're looking for it.

Sept. 4 - Relaxing cruise turns into high-speed flight, dinner-for-two becomes a pot-luck, or if you're not paying attention, you may find yourself going "the wrong way" home. Stay awake, and watch the crows for signs.

Sept. 5 - Pisces Moon makes it hard to resist the call of the sea. Foot massages, pedicures, walks on the beach, private moments and candlelight all offer valuable healing. The urgency eases, but high-tension in the air remains, due to the FULL MOON, Lunar Eclipse in the wee hours of tomorrow morning. We might expect cloudbursts and high winds.

Sept. 6 - FULL Moon ~ Lunar ECLIPSE in Pisces

The second Lunar Eclipse in a month,
with a Solar Eclipse inbetween, commands our full attention!

Lady Moon suspends us in ~tyme~ and space, as Earth's shadow casts over Her
Uranus

Neptune

Venus, flying out of Leo into Virgo, contributes to the day's instability. Moon occults ("eclipses") Jupiter, meaning we might be blinded by the Light. Relax with soothing music, poetry or fragrances..., but keep your intuition tuned-up.

~ ~ ~ interruption in transmission ~ ~ ~ this is Neptune ~ ~ ~

We are all experiencing ~wobbles~ right now, and our Star-Gazer's Notes naturally reflect the current phenomena, as part of the message.

reflection comes through all forms of WATER

Sept. 7 - Aries Moon may start the day a little early, even if you escaped to the woods. Hunches pay-off, transmissions are clear, and computer glitches get fixed. Creative imagination soars as Mercury takes flight into Virgo, joining Venus for some top-notch composing, choreographing or just plain talking. Late-night brain-storming brings brilliant results.

Sept. 8 - Go with the plan. Turbo-jets ignite; you are in the groove, so "move." If you need a boost, you've got it. Hang-out with Fire-signs, unless you are one. Too many cooks might "spoil the broth."

Sept. 9 - Everybody you ever knew makes contact today. Taurus Moon wants to touch base, phone home, open the safe deposit box, sign the deal, and eat well. Just when you think the day is over, in walks Uncle Lester, or you get an uncanny burst of energy.

Sept. 10 - Morning surge gets projects underway ahead of schedule; luncheon meetings are profitable or illuminating. Serendipity will lead you out of trouble, so listen to the whispers on the wind. Carelessness may have a rude consequence. Push comes to shove, so stay clear, and away from crowds and traffic. Public transportation may jam.

Sept. 11 - Gemini Moon untangles snarls, and intuition is especially strong. Reclaim your space or your way of doing things. Know your own reasons; you may have to state them out-loud. People can be petty; rise above it.

Sept. 12 - Last Quarter Moon brings some order to the clutter, rationale to the inane and motivation toward the necessary. A newfound sense of freedom buoys you up to see your life from a much higher perspective. Hold this image. Cancers: take a picture.

Sept. 13 - Middle-of-the-night jitters are soothed by a call to a friend. Sorting your thoughts, or your junk drawer, will calm your nerves and reveal something you had forgotten about. Moon in Cancer draws us toward the campfire or the cozy cuddle. Visit a Sacred Space, a healing pond, or commune with old friends, relatives and especially Grandparents. Visit an Old Folks Home, and sing them a little song.

Today is Grandparents' Day
